DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT Marco Sanges' works are typically narrative based, always evoking a feeling of mystery and the sense of a sensual, uncanny world just out of grasp. Influenced by the black & white films of the silent era he creates powerful and dramatic works, both in colour and in black and white. Working in sequences, each one tells a unique multi-layered story, creating a highly personal, imaginary cinema. For the first time Marco tried to recreate his stills in moving images. Eventually, Alberto Bona with his filmmaking and Walter Koerte with his incredible soundtrack had the task to orchestrate Marco's vision and bring it to life!Links:
