OPAQUE SILENT SILENCE
A bizarre man finds himself alone in a deserted world: there is no other
human being left on Earth. Unsurprisingly he feels quite distressed.
Moreover, this lonely guy must cope with a mysterious past, silence,
obsessing questions and... twisted thumbs! Only the statue of the wise
Charles Darwin knows where to find truth and escape. But it could be too
late… Winner of Best International Short
Award at New York Independent International Film and Video Festival 2004.

TRIVIA
The realization of this
short was in fact an odyssey that lasted more than one year, remarkable
length of time for an 18 minutes production: the actor/director Alberto
Bona, in order to accomplish his project, had to go through unemployment,
broken cameras, police, museums’ security service and endless footage. The
editing started with about 10 hours of shooting to be carefully considered
and selected.
