PONDERING OF A LONELY WONDERER
A lonely wonderer, after much seeking for inspiration,
finally meets the muse of his dreams. But does he really meet her or is it
only an illusion? Award-winning* filmmaker Alberto Bona and visionary
photographer Marco Sanges combine their imagination to create a
surrealistic, bettersweet short, with a touch of nostalgia from the Age of
the Silver Screen. Official Selection at
Portobello Film Festival
2008.

DIRECTORS'S
STATEMENT
Marco Sanges' works are
typically narrative based, always evoking a feeling of mystery and the sense
of a sensual, uncanny world just out of grasp.
Influenced by the black &
white films of the silent era he creates powerful and dramatic works, both
in colour and in black and white. Working in sequences, each one tells a
unique multi-layered story, creating a highly personal, imaginary cinema.
Following the collaboration for Award Winning Circumstances,
Alberto Bona had the task to orchestrate Marco's vision both in front and
behind the camera, for a result which is a tribute to the Silver
Screen age.
